Bamboo is back at Woodland Park Zoo
Fitting in can be difficult for elephants. At least that’s been the case lately with Bamboo, the 39-year-old, 8,000-pound Asian elephant who moved from the Woodland Park Zoo to the Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma last August because she wasn’t getting along with another, much younger elephant there.
